What to write about

• A bug. Tell us which tool, what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Your browser and device help a lot. Please don't attach files with private information.
• A tool you wish existed, or a feature a current tool is missing.
• A mistake in a guide. If a fact, a command, or an example is wrong, we want to fix it. Say which guide and which line.
• A privacy question or a data request. See our Privacy Policy for how the tools handle your files first. Most of them run in your browser and never upload anything.
• Advertising or copyright concerns. Include the page address so we can find it quickly.

Many questions have a quick answer on the page itself. Each tool has a FAQ near the bottom, and the guides cover the background for common tasks.
